Brighten your life with ZOOM!

In the modern world, having nice teeth is important for many different reasons. From doing well at work to having a successful social life. One of the quickest and safest possible ways to change your smile and general appearance is the teeth whitening.

Whitening System ZOOM! by company Discusdental (USA) takes the leading position in the dental world. Since its release in 2001 ZOOM! caused a real stir in this sphere.

The ZOOM! Set consists of a specially designed lamp and whitening gel with a unique formula that contains amorphous calcium phosphate. This gel does not only provides excellent whitening results, but also nourishes the tooth by calcium ions. The ZOOM! light aids in activating the hydrogen peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. A study has shown that use of the Zoom! lamp increases the effectiveness of the ZOOM! gel by 26% or more, giving an average improvement of up to eight shades. During the short period of time (the complete procedure takes less than an hour) discoloration of your enamel and dentin is lightened during the process of bleaching.

Almost anyone can benefit from this procedure. Though, you should keep in mind that the treatment may not be as effective for some as it is for others. Your dentist will determine if you are a viable candidate for this procedure through a thorough oral exam, including a shade assessment.

Of all the dental whitening treatments (laser teeth whitening, whitening toothpaste, whitening strips, whitening gel and trays, and more), nothing whitens better or faster. Get an average of 8 shades whiter in just 45 minutes with ZOOM!’s innovative teeth bleaching system. ZOOM! has been clinically proven to be safe and effective and many dentists consider whitening the safest cosmetic dental procedure available.

Take advantage of dental surgery abroad

Are you unsatisfied with the look and condition of your teeth? Fortunately we live in time where dental surgery is available for everyone. Whether you are looking for general improvement of your smile or need some extensive treatment for broken or missing teeth, dental surgery abroad will provide you with an incredible variety of options both for aesthetic (cosmetic) and restorative treatment.

Usually dental surgery includes a great variety of important procedures related to the oral cavity. They are applied to restore the function, integrity and morphology of missing tooth structure. The most common procedures involve the dental surgery on the teeth as a treatment for dental caries or some external trauma. The structural loss typically results from caries. It is also removed intentionally during tooth preparation to improve the aesthetic look or the physical integrity of the intended restorative material.

Some of the most applied procedures of the dental surgery is tooth extraction.

When a tooth has extensive decay (dental caries) or is else broken or cracked in an extreme manner, tooth extraction might be recommended, while repairing it is not practical. Some teeth are extracted because they are malpositioned and often nonfunctional.

Frequently when wisdom teeth come in they lie in a position that can result in swelling, pain, and infection of the gum tissue surrounding the wisdom teeth. In addition, impacted wisdom teeth can cause permanent damage to nearby teeth, gums, and bone and can sometimes lead to the formation of cysts or tumors that can destroy sections of the jaw. Therefore, dentists recommend people with impacted wisdom teeth have them surgically removed. Tooth extractions may be required in preparation for other dental surgery procedures, for example for orthodontic treatment (braces) or for implantation.

In the following posts we will continue to describe types of dental surgery procedures.

Is your smile important?

A recent American study has found that teeth are the number one facial feature that people would change. The study was conducted on a representative sample of 1000 American adults both men and women between 18 and 50 years of age. The poll explored the importance of smiles in relation to business and careers, dating and marriage, the social arena, and the overall value of smiles and self-esteem.

Smiles on the Social Arena
94% of those polled said they are likely to notice a person’s smile when they meet them for the first time. People are less likely to notice someone’s height, eyes or figure. More than one half (71%) believe people with a nice smile make friends more easily. Over one third agree that bad teeth overshadow the rest of a person’s appearance.

Smiles and Self Esteem
Almost two-thirds (64%) agree that people with a nice smile are more outgoing. 77% think that having discoloured teeth as an adult makes a person feel self conscious. 87% think a person’s smile is very important to their self esteem.

Smiles and Relationships
An overwhelming majority of adults (85%) consider a person’s smile to be very or somewhat important when meeting someone for the first time. Almost 9 out of 10 (86%) think people with good teeth are more attractive.

Implant placement

Even ten years ago a major part of patients was suspicious about implantology as a treatment method.

Today, these questions do not arise in fact: Do implants «graft»? Is it safe? Isn’t it painful? Patients understand that implantology is scientifically approved method of treatment, which is used in numerous clinical situations, including the cases, where dental bridge or removable dentures were previously used.

Dental implantology solves not only the problem of teeth absence, but due to new technologies makes it possible to implement methods, which allow to reach treatment result that completely meets aesthetic and functional characteristics of natural teeth.

We use different implant systems in our practice, and this helps to make a right choice in every individual situation.

Implementation of implants into everyday practice significantly changed dentistry, raising its possibilities to the absolutely new qualitative level. Patients with one or all teeth absence may solve their problem and feel complete functioning of maxillodental system.

According to many authors, a person with teeth absence feels inferiority and despondency. Implants allow people enjoy their smiling. And the very implants provide a person with respective life quality and give a joy of smiling.

We use implants of leading world-known manufacturers in our practice:
Nobel Biocare (USA)
Alpha Bio (Israel)
Bredent (Germany)
Leader (Italy)

It allows offering our clients the best solutions and provides possibility of choice
