Brighten your life with ZOOM!

In the modern world, having nice teeth is important for many different reasons. From doing well at work to having a successful social life. One of the quickest and safest possible ways to change your smile and general appearance is the teeth whitening.

Whitening System ZOOM! by company Discusdental (USA) takes the leading position in the dental world. Since its release in 2001 ZOOM! caused a real stir in this sphere.

The ZOOM! Set consists of a specially designed lamp and whitening gel with a unique formula that contains amorphous calcium phosphate. This gel does not only provides excellent whitening results, but also nourishes the tooth by calcium ions. The ZOOM! light aids in activating the hydrogen peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. A study has shown that use of the Zoom! lamp increases the effectiveness of the ZOOM! gel by 26% or more, giving an average improvement of up to eight shades. During the short period of time (the complete procedure takes less than an hour) discoloration of your enamel and dentin is lightened during the process of bleaching.

Almost anyone can benefit from this procedure. Though, you should keep in mind that the treatment may not be as effective for some as it is for others. Your dentist will determine if you are a viable candidate for this procedure through a thorough oral exam, including a shade assessment.

Of all the dental whitening treatments (laser teeth whitening, whitening toothpaste, whitening strips, whitening gel and trays, and more), nothing whitens better or faster. Get an average of 8 shades whiter in just 45 minutes with ZOOM!’s innovative teeth bleaching system. ZOOM! has been clinically proven to be safe and effective and many dentists consider whitening the safest cosmetic dental procedure available.

Incognito is recognized worldwide as the best lingual bracket system.

Lingual bracket system “Incognito was developed and tested by Dr. Wiechmann in early 2000 in Germany. Through the application of high technologies of 3D computer modeling, and ultra-miniature casting metal alloys, bracket system “Incognito” became a new stage of development of orthodontics.

Here are just some of the benefits of braces “Incognito”:
Individual lingual braces, invisible to other people
3D models of your teeth are designed and manufactured by computer, which makes it possible to create flat braces completely adjacent to the teeth;
Much smaller than conventional braces and hardly felt in the mouth;
Do not cause speech impediments;
Comfortable setting;
Reduced treatment time (an average of 16–18 months).

“Incognito” are much more expensive than traditional lingual braces. Because of the following reasons:
“Incognito” are made with the help of modern computer technology, allowing to calculate the location of the brackets and the required load. Both braces and arcs are calculated individually for each patient.

Braces «Incognito» consist of durable gold-alloy, so they are more resistant than conventional metal braces, and are not oxidized. Material of brackets lowers the risk of allergies, helps to maintain good oral hygiene.

All laboratory procedures are automated: models of patients teeth are scanned, then the computer simulates compact braces. The difference in the size of teeth is compensated by the curvature of the arc, which also is manufactured by the robot.

Compared with conventional braces, Incognito braces are so thin and tiny that you will quickly stop paying attention to them and your speech won’t be influenced.

“Incognito” is recognized throughout the world as the best lingual bracket system.
The quality of “Incognito” bracket-system is really worth its price.

Take advantage of dental surgery abroad

Are you unsatisfied with the look and condition of your teeth? Fortunately we live in time where dental surgery is available for everyone. Whether you are looking for general improvement of your smile or need some extensive treatment for broken or missing teeth, dental surgery abroad will provide you with an incredible variety of options both for aesthetic (cosmetic) and restorative treatment.

Usually dental surgery includes a great variety of important procedures related to the oral cavity. They are applied to restore the function, integrity and morphology of missing tooth structure. The most common procedures involve the dental surgery on the teeth as a treatment for dental caries or some external trauma. The structural loss typically results from caries. It is also removed intentionally during tooth preparation to improve the aesthetic look or the physical integrity of the intended restorative material.

Some of the most applied procedures of the dental surgery is tooth extraction.

When a tooth has extensive decay (dental caries) or is else broken or cracked in an extreme manner, tooth extraction might be recommended, while repairing it is not practical. Some teeth are extracted because they are malpositioned and often nonfunctional.

Frequently when wisdom teeth come in they lie in a position that can result in swelling, pain, and infection of the gum tissue surrounding the wisdom teeth. In addition, impacted wisdom teeth can cause permanent damage to nearby teeth, gums, and bone and can sometimes lead to the formation of cysts or tumors that can destroy sections of the jaw. Therefore, dentists recommend people with impacted wisdom teeth have them surgically removed. Tooth extractions may be required in preparation for other dental surgery procedures, for example for orthodontic treatment (braces) or for implantation.

In the following posts we will continue to describe types of dental surgery procedures.

Why to do the eye surgery?

If you have vision disabilities, you know, how much inconvenience they cause you in your daily life. Any habitual action, with which a person with good vision easily copes, can become a real problem for people whose vision is far from the desired.

The fastest and most effective way to get rid of vision disabilities is laser surgery.

It is safe. This is probably one of the safest procedures that ever existed.

It’s convenient.
You can forget about inconvenient eyeglasses and contact lenses.

It is not terrible and does not hurt. Modern methods of laser vision correction are the most secure.

It’s painless.
The operation is painless, because the eye is numbed by drops, the discomfort after laser surgery is minimal and usually disappears after a few days.

It’s effective.
After laser surgery, you will see better than you did before in your strongest glasses.

It’s simple. Laser vision correction does not affect your normal lifestyle. To perform the surgery you don’t have to take several days off.

It’s fast.
The surgery lasts about 15-20 minutes, duration of the laser influence is just 40 seconds.

It is stable. Contrary to existing stereotypes, your vision after laser surgery will not change over the years in case you don’t have other eye diseases.

It is affordable.
There exists a myth that the laser surgery is extremely expensive. But in fact, you should visit specialists in clinic “Laser Plus” and find out that laser surgery costs about 599€.

Don’t hesitate and let yourself start a new life with good vision!

Benefits of cataract extraction

If the doctor sets you a diagnosis “cataract” – do not delay. The surgery done in time is less traumatic, eye heals quicker and the vision is almost completely restored.

Patients who do not postpone the operation, get the best results. Postponing surgery means that cataract will become more mature and will be harder to remove. In addition, patients who postpone operations have complications more often. Frequently patients, who have long been living with the diagnosis of cataract, receive concomitant diseases. Some of them, such as, glaucoma can lead to complete loss of vision.

Clinics “Laser Plus” have over nine years of successfully conducted cataract removal surgeries. Hundreds of people each year experience the benefits of such operation:

• Absolutely painless and safe procedure
• Outpatient operation for 15 minutes
• After the operation you can immediately return to your usual work
• Vision begins to recover immediately after surgery

There are no age contraindications for replacing the lens
, the general anesthesia is not used – in our clinics we use special eye drops which safely work as anesthetic. During 15 minutes operation hundreds of people felt only soft touches of the doctor’s hands and saw a bright light.

After surgery experienced doctors will closely monitor the process of healing. You will get a set of necessary drugs, go through all necessary control examinations and receive consultations concerning any questions about postoperative care.

The very next day after surgery you will return to work, to your daily worries and joys. In a week you will not even remember that once in your eye there “lived” and constantly grew a cataract.

Laser surgery will let you see the faces of your loved ones and the colors of life with your own eyes!

Cataract and it’s diagnosis

A cataract is a clouding, which is located between the front and rear segments of eye. Early in the development of age-related cataract the power of the lens may be increased, causing near-sightedness (myopia), and the gradual yellowing and opacification of the lens may reduce the perception of blue colours. Cataracts typically progress slowly to cause vision loss and are potentially blinding if untreated. The condition usually affects both the eyes, but almost always one eye is affected earlier than the other.

Over the past decade cataracts have become “younger” – the average age in which the disease is diagnosed is 45 years. Cataract develops for a variety of reasons, including ecology, our way of life, bad habits, unhealthy diet etc. – it is impossible to name everything. The disease can develop under the influence of external factors or secondary effects of some diseases, including diabetes.

Diagnosis of cataracts

When a cataract just begins, only a small part of lens is clouded. You may not notice changes in your vision. Typically, cataract “grows” slowly and gradually deteriorates vision. Over time a cataract becomes larger and increases in size. It becomes more opaque, a loss of visual acuity is noted. The image is fuzzy and grayish.

The most common symptoms of cataracts include:

• Blurred or fuzzy image
• Colors vision is less vivid
• Lamps, lighting and sunlight may seem too bright. A ‘halo’ is observed around the source of light
• A doubled image in an eye
• Frequent changes of glasses prescription

Integrated diagnostic examination of the eye is the first and most important step for further treatment of cataract. With equipment from leading companies of the world and European experience of doctors from clinic “LASER PLUS” can detect cataract on early stage and start the treatment before the disease has influenced eye functions.

In clinic “LASER PLUS” we measure visual acuity and refraction on the narrowed and dilated pupils of each patient. With the help of non-contact tonometer the data on intraocular pressure is received, if necessary, pressure is measured using Maklakov tonometer. To confirm the diagnosis and detect the degree of cataract progression the field of vision is explored and the strength of artificial lens is measured and calculated. The eye is also examined with the help of ultrasound.

Using the slitlamp doctor assesses the state of the cornea, the presence of scars, lens cloudings and others. All patients undergo examination of retina, including its most distant parts when the pupils are maximally dilated. This helps to detect retinal dystrophy, retinal tears, retinal detachment, i.e. eye pathology in the retina, which is not evident clinically, but requires mandatory treatment. If necessary, the amount of researches will be expanded.

Such a thorough ophthalmologic examination lasts over two hours. Apart from apparatus and computer methods of examination you will get the complete consultation on disease, together with the doctor identify ways to overcome the problem, discuss the benefits and risks of surgical intervention and projected results of operation, if it will be necessary.
